LA Marathon Training Overview

Starting on Sunday, July 27, 2008 at 8:00 am, the Twentysixers will begin training for the LA Marathon on March 1, 2009. Come join us at the Senior Center at 1450 Ocean Ave in Santa Monica, California.

The Twentysixers 32 week program features:
A Structured Marathon Training Program designed for both beginning and experienced marathon runners.
The program includes the following:
1. Long Runs on Sunday Mornings 2. Sunday Morning Lectures 3. Weekly email with lecture information and training workouts for the week 4. Training Schedule for the entire season 5. Water stations on longer runs 6. 26ers T-Shirt 7. Hands-on Coaching for each runner 8. Discounts at running stores for shoes
Other Training Options available for an additonal fee include:
F.A.S.T. Strength/Conditioning class for runners
Monday nights at 6:45 PM.
Track Club - Interval Workouts Thrusday nights at 7:00 PM at Santa Monica High School Track
One-on-one coaching/ personal training at scheduled times convenient to your schedule.
